Sourcing and Contract Management

The fundamental concept of group procurement is for group enterprises to leverage and maximize their combined buying power to generate savings. This strategy, by its very nature, forces a rationalization of supplier base, conformity of property inventories and the structured interchange of information between Supplier, Central Purchasing and Member Hotels.
While achieving economies of scale in buying power and streamlining the purchase process is the main aim, it is equally important to ensure maintain quality and value in the eyes of to the customer. To this end, MBT designed the service with equal attention to quality management across the chain. A consistent standard that would highlight exceptions and variations for feed back and control.
Working with suppliers to providing efficient means of capturing and maintaining contract pricing is another important feature of the systems.

Procurement
Management of the requisition process, authorization and control of purchases, selection of contract supplier and pricing and finally the generation of orders are the functionality of the procurement process.

Demand Forecasting and Planning

Integration with inventory allows the system to generate requests based on par levels, sales or consumption statistics.
